THE SUN
The Sun is the object in the solar system. It contains more than 99.8% of the total mass of the Solar System. It is usualy said that the Sun is an "ordinary" star. That's true in the sense that there are some others similar to it. But there are many more smaller stars than larger ones; the Sun is in the top 10% by mass. The median size of stars in our galaxy is probably less than half the of the Sun's mass.
Sun And Star
The Sun is the star at the middle of the solar system. It is seen in the sky and gives of light to the Earth. When the Sun is in the sky, it is daytime. When the Sun is not in the sky it is nightime.
Differance Between The Sun And A Star
The differances between a star and the sun. Star is a big spherical celestial body of gases and plasma, which produces energy by nuclear fusion. A sun is a star with planets that orbit it.
why planets orbit the sun
Planets in the solar system are held in place by gravity and enertia. The enertia pulls the planet out to space and the gravity pulls it into the sun.this make a perfect balance. And the sun is the biggest star so all the planets orbit around the star. Like Earth, the Sun has gravity. Since the Sun is gigantic compared to Earth, its gravity is large enough to keep the Solar system spinning around it. This includes planets, comets, andeven meteors.
Why The Sun Will Die
The Sun will die, in a long time about 5 billion years, because it will have no more hydrogen to power its process of nuclear fusion.
What A Solar Eclipse Is
A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon slowly passes between the big Sun and the small Earth, and the Moon fully or partially covers the Sun as viewed from a location on Earth.
